Montserrat Soria i Bonich

I have a degree in Sociology, master degree in Applied Sociological Research and postgraduate in Social Policy and Community at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. During the last 4 years I have worked on issues such as migration, child and youth at social risk and leisure time education. I also developed projects related to new technologies in design, creation and making videos. My experience is primarily focused on two groups: unaccompanied minors and children of immigrant families. I also worked as a professor on social structure and social inequalities and I have several publications on the subject.

I am a member of the IFAM’s Research Group in Pere Tarres Foundation and Ramon Llull University and currently developing the project YouthME. In this project, I have different responsibilities. I work as a researcher in the qualitative and quantitative diagnosis stage. I also manage the website and various 2.0 web-tools integrated into the project. I deal with administrative issues and work as a facilitator of a group of teenagers and young people in the empowerment workshops and crossworker training.
